The Millstream is situated in the heart of old Bosham, an historic village with a fine Saxon church on the shores of Chichester Harbour. It combines the elegance of a small English country house with the character and charm of an 18th century Malthouse cottage.

Each of the 35 bedrooms is individually decorated very much in keeping with the nature and style of the surrounds. There are also two suites across the bridge in the thatched “Waterside Cottage”. 3 new apartments are also now available just 100 metres from the hotel.

The restaurant, overlooking the gardens, has two AA Rosettes and is renowned for its excellent cuisine; it offers a selection of English and European dishes. There is also a more informal brasserie restaurant which offers more casual dining.

The charming sitting room, with its deep-cushioned armchairs, grand piano, bowls of freshly cut flowers and tranquil atmosphere, is the ideal place to meet up with friends over afternoon tea or an aperitif, play cards or just relax with a good novel or magazine. At one point the garden is bisected by an eponymous Millstream which flows past the gazebo.

Bosham is a perfect centre from which to explore this area of outstanding natural beauty and historical interest.

Weddings, functions and meetings are catered for with private dinners catering for 30 to 75 guests and the conference room catering for up to 40 delegates.

Open all year.

    “Comfortable in a great location!”

Booked a one night stay as my wife and I were catching a show at the CFT.Upon arrival was impressed with the location, quintessential english village, and the receptionist was warm and cheery and said as we were early our room was not quite ready and we could order some food in the lounge, however even though the sandwiches we ordered eventually arrived and were tasty and fresh it took 45 mins to get them as we had obviously been forgotten, but the situation was rescued somewhat by the management realising their mistake and giving us complimentary tea and coffee.
The bedroom was comfortable with all essential amenities but not sure about carpet in the bath/shower area!!!!.
Breakfast was good and cooked to perfection but thought the portions were on the economical side.
