ABOUT OX PASTURE HALL COUNTRY HOTEL

Ox Pasture Hall is stunningly located in 17 acres of its own gardens and grounds amongst the meadows and woodlands of the North Yorkshire Moors National Park. It is one of today’s breed of luxury country house hotel. It offers quiet luxury in one of Britain’s most wonderful settings, yet is only three miles from Scarborough. All rooms are furnished to the highest standard and are unique, varying in size or aspect. Some have traditional Queen Anne four-posters, some ornate metal beds, some French and highback sleigh beds. Ground floor rooms are set around a beautiful courtyard garden. Dining at Oxpasture is an experience to savour, either in the elegant Courtyard Restaurant or in the less formal Brasserie. There are spectacular walks along the coast and along the Forge Valley. The North Yorks Moors and Railway are nearby, as well as Byland, Whitby and Rievaulx abbeys.

You are welcome to bring your pet to the hotel, for a fee of £10.

10/09/2009 (4 night stay): The hotel is in a beautiful setting with extensive grounds. It is well off the beaten track. The food was particularly good. Breakfast meals were individually cooked.
Scrambled eggs don't usually turn out well in hotels, but they did here!
