Headlam Hall

This magnificent Jacobean manor house offers all that is best in country house accommodation. There are 40 beautifully appointed bedrooms, many with period furniture and some with four-posters. The restaurant is set over four rooms that include the intimate panelled room and impressive new Orangery.  Freshly prepared cuisine makes best use of local produce to produce tasty and imaginative dishes. The Main Hall features an original carved oak fireplace and open staircase. The Georgian drawing room overlooks four acres of walled gardens, featuring ancient beech hedges, colourful borders and a fishing lake.

There is plenty at the hotel for the active guest – swimming or exercising in the gym of the new spa complex where a range of spa therapies can be enjoyed in the luxurious treatment rooms, tennis and the challenging 9 hole golf course. There are also excellent conference and banqueting facilities.
