Originally a rectory which then became a small private hotel but which has now been totally refurbished and extended. The refurbishment of the original rectory has been done with care to retain as many of the original features as possible yet at the same time to provide up to date facilities that guests now expect.
Only re-opened recently the spacious dining room already boasts 1 AA Rosette. As much as possible is homemade including all desserts, ice cream and bread. Breakfast is served in the stylish conservatory and in the summer the patio is available for al fresco dining.
All the new guest rooms are spacious and have the most modern facilities and full air-conditioning.
An ideal base from which to explore both East and West Dorset, with lots of activities locally – to name a few, three golf courses, fishing, clay target shooting, riding, sailing, walking and many National Trust properties.
