Wolfscastle is a friendly country house hotel and restaurant, formerly a rectory, situated between Haverfordwest and Fishguard, just off the A40.
It is still known locally by its original name Allt Yr Afon (‘Hill by the River’). It is excellently located for exploring the Pembrokeshire Coast and National Park, the Preseli Hills and St David’s – Britain’s smallest cathedral city. Bedrooms, which have all recently been refurbished, are either in the old ’rectory’ part of the house or in the more modern extension to the rear of the building. The hotel has been family run for more than 20 years and the two owners, together with their AA earning chefs, have almost 100 years’ combined experience of running Wolfscastle.
