Originally a 19th century barn, The Inn at The Elm Tree has been transformed into a celebrated Restaurant with Rooms and has become ‘The First Five Star Inn in Wales’. Bedrooms are both classical and modern and bathrooms have large corner baths or Jacuzzis. Cuisine in the intimate restaurant is British using the best of Wales’ natural produce with a European influence. The river meadows of the Severn estuary between Newport and Cardiff, known as ‘Little Holland’ provide a quiet backwater both for business visitors to the two cities, each only 15 minutes away, and also for leisure travellers.
