The Royal Oak is a picturesque former coaching inn set in the heart of Wales’ foremost National Park – Snowdonia. It overlooks the river Llugwy in the centre of the Victorian village of Betws-y-Coed. Comfortable bedrooms, including four-posters, are cheerfully decorated and most have stunning views. The award-winning Llugwy Restaurant features the best of Welsh produce, sourced locally. The Grill Bar was refurbished in 2005 and there is a meeting/private dining room for up to 25 people. Snowdonia is home to many sporting pursuits, from white water rafting to pony trekking and fishing.
