Palé Hall is a delightful discovery for the discerning visitor – a lovingly restored Victorian country manor set in refreshingly tranquil and beautiful surroundings. Queen Victoria herself warmed to Palé’s welcome during her visit in 1889 and her bath is still in use today. The present family owners are proud to maintain the Hall’s great tradition of hospitality. The Hall lies in an unspoiled area of lush valleys and gentle hills, making it a paradise for many outdoor activities: fishing, shooting, horse riding, and mountaineering. Lake Bala is the largest natural lake in Wales (4 ½ miles long). A steam railway runs alongside it. With the Land Rover Experience based at Pale, we can offer guests the opportunity to drive off-road in a variety of the current Land Rover models around the 200-acre site of rugged terrain in Welsh mountainside.
