Maes-y-Neuadd is a solidly built Welsh granite and slate extended manor house which sits in 7 ½ secluded acres of landscaped lawn, garden, orchard and paddock high above Harlech and Tremadog Bay. There are charming walks all around. Each bedroom is different, most overlooking the gardens to the front. The AA 2-rosette cuisine is presided over by Welsh master chef Peter Jackson. With French influences, it makes best use of local game, meat and fish, supplemented from the hotel's own kitchen and herb garden. With Portmeirion and Harlech on the doorstep, there is much to see and do in the area.
