ABOUT GLIFFAES COUNTRY HOUSE HOTEL

A family owned hotel set in 33 acres of grounds planted with rare shrubs, offering tennis court, putting and golf practice net, croquet; Usk river reserved for salmon or wild brown trout fishing. There is a relaxing sitting room, drawing room opening onto a spacious sun room - and terrace, also approachable via the dining room and refurbished bar. Light lunch dishes may be ordered from the bar and tea is best described as a trencherman's dream!. An extensive dinner menu uses only the freshest ingredients and is supported by a sensibly priced wine list. Bedrooms are priced according to size and views, all are characterful and en suite.
