Allt Yr Ynys sits astride the Monmouthshire / Herefordshire border and is centred on a beautifully preserved medieval 16th-century manor house. There are many original features still visible: moulded ceilings, oak panelling and beams, a cider press and even a priest’s hole. Most bedrooms are in the converted stables and outbuildings and the hotel nestles in stunning countryside at the foot of the majestic Black Mountains and on the fringes of the Brecon Beacons National Park. The award-winning restaurant serves modern British cuisine. Facilities in the hotel include an indoor pool, sauna and spa bath and a clay pigeon shooting range.
