Bath Assembly Rooms
One of Bath’s grandest public buildings and once considered the most elegant in Europe. Built in late 18th century by John Wood. Housed in the same building, the Museum of Costume displays costumes from Tudor Times to the present day. Contains over 200 dressed figures and 1000 other items of costume, jewellery and accessories.
Open Mar-October 11-6; Nov-Feb 11-5. Assembly rooms entrance free – Museum of Costume charged.
