Tate Britain

The Tate displays British art from 1500 to about 1900 , including major works by Blake, Constable, Epsteim, Gainsborough, Hirst, Hockney, Morre, Rosetti, Stubbs and Turner. Rodin’s The Kiss is in the entrance hall. There is a programme of free guided tours, gallery talks, lectures and films every day. Also study days, courses and conferences designed for those with an interest in Modern Art. The Clore Gallery, alongside, houses some 300 paintings and 3,000 prints, sketches and watercolours by Turner.
