One of the loveliest gardens in England, created as a series of outdoor rooms around the gatehouse of a decayed Tudor mansion by Vita Sackille West and Harold Nicholson in the 1930s. Each ‘parcel’ is romantic and intimate, providing outstanding colour mixes throughout the season.
