Leeds Castle & Gardens
Set in 500 acres of parkland, lakes and gardens, Leeds Castle is one of the most beautiful buildings of England, firstly a Norman fortress, then a Royal palace to the Medieval and Tudor monarchs. The castle has a fine collection of paintings and furniture and also a rare Dog Collar Museum. Outside are the English Culpeper Garden, the Wood Garden and the terraced Lady Baillie Garden (named after the last private owner), Aviary, Maze and Knights Realm playground. Concerts, pageants and special events take place throughout the year.
