Chartwell
Sir Winston Churchill’s family home for more than 40 years. Rooms have been left as they were in Churchill’s times, with papers, signed photographs and cigars. The garden studio contains many of his paintings, as well as the easel and paint box that he used. The Marlborough Pavilion in the grounds is decorated with frescoes of the Battle of Blenheim. A momentuous life captured in a time capsule.
