Buscot Park, Faringdon
Buscot is a restored Palladian style house containing fine furniture designed by Adam and Hope, silver, porcelain and paintings by Rembrandt, Botticelli and Murillo and works by pre-Raphaelite artists like Rosetti and Burne-Jones, including the latter’s Legend of the Briar Rose. The grounds include the Howard Peto-designed Water Garden and the Four Seasons Walled Garden.
Open 1 Apr-30 Sept Wed-Fri and every other w/end in summer (check with house). Admission adult £7.50/child £3.75.
