Tissington Hall
Tissington has been the home of the Fitzherbert family for more than 500 years. The Hall contains impressive panelling and some fine old masters. There is a 10-acre garden and arboretum. The neat village houses are tied to the estate. Annual well dressings take place in the village in late May. The Tissington Trail , up to Buxton, starts in the village.
