Kedleston Hall
Remarkable Palladian-style house built in 1759 for the Curzon family. The interiors were designed by Robert Adam and are largely unchanged to this day. The Eastern Museum contains a remarkable collection of Indian weapons, silver and art amassed when Lord Curzon was Viceroy 1898-1905. Kedleston was the setting for the 2008 film The Duchess staring Keira Knightley. There is a behind-the-scenes exhibition including a selection of the costumes worn.
