Bolsover Castle
The remains of a 17th century castle, built on the site of a Norman fortress, rise above the surrounding countryside. Don’t miss the Little Castle with intricate carvings, panelling and wall paintings including the remaining copies of Titian’s Caesar Paintings. There is also a 17th century Riding School, built by the Duke of Newcastle and still in use today, and a Visitor and Discovery Centre.
