Ickworth House, Park & Gardens
Ickworth is an unusual Rotunda house built in the Italian style with wings linked by two curving corridors between 1794 and 1830 by the 4th Earl of Bristol to house his art collection. Sumptuous state rooms contain 18th century and Regency furniture, silver Old Master paintings and family portraits. The impressive grounds were landscaped by Capability Brown.
House open daily Fri through Tues 11-5. Admission: adult £8.75/child £3.50/family £9.95. Park open all year.
