Holkham Hall
Palladian-style mansion built 1734-1764 by Thomas Coke, 1st Earl of Leicester, whose descendants live in the Hall to this day. Its interior is furnished with marble, mosaics, monuments and paintings by Van Dyck, Rubens and Gainsborough, among others. Outside the Bygones Museum houses more than 4000 items of agricultural memorabilia and displays a History of Farming Exhibition. Outside visitors may roam in the 3000 deer park or take in Holkham Beach, near the North entrance.
