Halstead
The beautiful small town of Halstead boasts many attractions including the flint church, dating from the 14th/15th centuries, which has imposing monuments and tombs.
Halstead’s water mill, overlooking the river Colne, was built for corn ijn 1788 but then converted by Samuel Courtuald for silk weaving in 1825.
