Framlingham Castle

Impressive 12th century fortress, which was rebuilt in the 16th century and has a walkway linking nine of the 13 towers. Interactive commentary is available charting the castle’s history down the ages. It has been an Elizabethan prison, a poor house and a school. Also on the premises is the Lanman Trust Museum of local history.
