The Cotswold stone house, that is Lords of The Manor, dates from about 1649. Occupied by the Army, during the Second World War and, indeed, in both World Wars, no one from the Parish was killed - confirming Upper Slaughter's reputation as a charmed place! Converted into the Hotel in 1972 and, still privately owned, the Manor enjoys a successful reputation. The Slaughter's Valley is a hidden gem in The Cotswolds. Lords of The Manor is set in 8 acres. Parkland, gardens, a lake and the unique and new "Bog Garden", creating a magical setting. This classic country Manor House has been awarded 1 Michelin Star and 3 red AA Rosettes for, the marvellous food and dining experience. The atmosphere throughout, is most welcoming. The Bar has a warming log fire in Season, beautiful decor and stone windows that frame breathtaking views across the grounds. The Drawing Room is elegant. The Garden Room, perfect for private Dining, Weddings and Meetings, opening out to the Walled Garden and Patio. The Library can be used for intimate dining. Newly refurbished, Suites and bedrooms are luxurious. Individual features dictate the style of decor and furnishings. Traditional " in room" Treatments are available by trained Therapists. Well designed en-suite facilities have soft Robes and L'Occitane products. Every possible facility and comfort is afforded for guests. Unique historical features contribute to the gracious atmosphere. Guests do indeed feel, as if they are Lords of The Manor. What luxury!

The Restaurant, is the height of sophistication. Award winning Richard Picard- Edwards and his team present culinary French classics with modern techniques. Menus focus on dishes using the freshest produce, sourced in The Cotswolds. Flavour combinations superb, with marvellous results. A fine Wine selection here with a noted Cellar of 600 to 700 bins - including an excellent variety of half bottles. Do savour the Award Winning Cheese Board. The dining experience here is a true delight. Faultless, in every respect.
