Details

Harvest House is one of a small number of houses built in Milford-on-Sea by the then village’s benefactor, architect William Ravenscroft, who paid for many of the communal buildings and built charming Arts and Crafts-style houses. The property has been lovingly retained and your hosts promise a pleasant, comfortable stay, a little tranquillity in a busy world.

The grounds surrounding Harvest House (offering ample secure gated parking) add to the comfort and create a relaxing setting that guests are welcome to enjoy with some spectacular views of the Solent and from the village beach, the famous Needles.

The location of Harvest House is fantastic; guests are just a short walk from the vibrant village centre of Milford-on-Sea with its pubs, restaurants and shops. Situated near the sailing towns of Lymington and Christchurch and a mile or so from the renowned Pennington Marshes with a wealth of wildlife, attracting large numbers of migratory birds, the area abounds in history, art and culture. On the coastal sector of the New Forest National Park, with traditions that date back more than 900 years; little has changed since the days of William the Conqueror and it is still a huge natural playground enjoyed by walkers, cyclists, horse riders etc.

The breakfast room is spacious, offering individual tables for guests and the most incredible views. Start each day by trying beautiful local produce.

3 There are 3 unique, distinctive rooms to choose from; Hurst, Keyhaven, and the Attic Suite. Each has its own character, en suite facilities and home comforts.

Single nights may occasionally be available.

We have two individually furnished en suite bedrooms and our Attic Suite completes our guest accommodation all of which enjoy views over our gardens and adjacent fields to the Isle of Wight and beyond. Our terrace, in warm weather, offers guests an ideal place to take breakfast (locally sourced and cooked to order), an aperitif before dinner, or just another place to relax and read a book. In less clement weather taking breakfast in our conservatory (individual tables) with the same stunning views, guests can relax in the guest sitting room, read, watch television, and when the weather turns colder, enjoy the warmth of the fire.
