Tastefully converted from a 19 th century castle, Stonefield is charmingly situated on the Mull of Kintyre, between the islands of Jura & Islay and Arran. It has panoramic sea views and its gardens are known for some of the finest rhododendrons in Britain, as well as azaleas and other exotic shrubs which flourish in the mild West Coast climate. Bedrooms are spacious and comfortable, those in the older part pf the house being more traditional. There is a large cocktail bar, lounge/hall, library and drawing room. The dining room, with a choice of a la carte or table d'hote menus using local produce wherever possible, enjoys stunning views. Most traditional outdoor pursuits are available nearby and ferry trips can be arranged to Arran, Gigha, Islay, Mull and Iona.
