The Roman Camp Country House & Restaurant lies on 20 acres of gardens by the river Teith. These include a large walled flower & herb garden and rolling lawns. The house, dating from 1625, was originally a hunting lodge for the Dukes of Perth. It was converted to a hotel in 1939.
Public rooms are exceptionally comfortable, with deep sofas and armchairs, roaring fires in winter and fresh flowers. In the heart of the house is the library with its rich oak panelling and adjoining secret chapel. The AA 3 rosette

restaurant is an inspiring oval room of elegant proportions, with soft modern classical décor.
Cuisine is modern Scottish making use of freshest local produce. There are a number of smaller private dining rooms for special occasions or private parties. Each bedroom is individually furnished with rich fabrics and antiques, many being on the ground floor.
