The 4 star Best Western Philipburn Country House Hotel is ideally located on the outskirts of historic Selkirk, within easy reach of the A7 and 35 miles south of Edinburgh.  Surrounded by gardens and woodlands the hotel enjoys a tranquil settring on the Scottish Borders.

Family owned and run by Ian and Marie Wells, the hotel has recently been completely refurbished.  The 12 immaculately presented bedrooms have all been individually and tastefully furnished offering a high level of comfort and style. There are also 5 self catering cottages within the hotel grounds.

The main Restaurant '1745'  features a menu incorporating the finest local and seasonal produce and there is a comprehensive wine list to compliment the food.  The Bistro and Bar offers an alternative less formal style.  However the Restaurant team has a well earned reputation for the high standard of food and service wherever you choose to dine.
