The Kings Arms is the first hotel in Skye, just over the bridge in the village of Kyleakin. It overlooks the Kyle of Lochalsh over to the mainland. It is one of the oldest hotels on Skye, dating back to the 17th century and has retained its traditional Scottish atmosphere of hospitality and warmth. The hotel is a good centre for touring the southern part of the island, with the Fairy Bridge and the stunning Cuilin Hills close by. There are two bars and the dining room serves imaginative cuisine produced by a team of creative chefs and influenced by local ingredients.
