Flodigarry is a sheltered haven amidst the dramatic scenery of Northern Skye and is magnificently situated with panoramic views across the sea to the Torridon Mountains. The surrounding cliff and mountain scenery is amongst the finest in the British Isles, with the famous towering pinnacles of the Quiraing providing a remarkable skyline to the views inland. Lying immediately to the south is the broad sweep of Staffin Bay, one of the most beautiful bays on Skye.
Spoilt for choice you can be up on the Quiraing where eagles soar within minutes from the hotel. Capture the breathtaking views, Jurassic scenery and fresh air. Walk the coast – see whales, sharks, seals, otters and puffins.
There are 11 bedrooms in the main house and a further 7 in Flora Macdonald’s Cottage, in the grounds. These are cosy with in character low ceilings and some with direct garden access. Flora lived here after she assisted Bonnie Prince Charlie ‘over the sea to Skye’ and ultimately to escape to France.
Both our restaurants offer the finest seafood, Highland lamb and famous Scottish beef.
