The two hundred year old hotel is located amidst the rugged beauty of a large estate, commanding a superb position at the head of Badcall Bay, with the mountains behind. Despite its remoteness the food is particularly good with emphasis on home cooking using fresh, local specialities of hill lamb, venison and seafood delicacies. Everything is home produced with a selection of home-made chutneys and conserves available from the tasteful little shop. With eleven en suite bedrooms the hotel is a bright and very comfortable base for walking, sailing/boating, fishing, climbing, exploration of wildlife in beautiful North Scotland.
