The Dunalastair is the ‘Warm Heart of the Highlands’, amidst layers of highland lochside forest and mountain scenery right in the middle of Scotland, yet near Pitlochry and Perth, thus very accessible by road and rail. The hotel specialises in activity holidays organised in conjunction with Activity Scotland and ranging from pony trekking to white water rafting. Otherwise there are great walks around the hotel or a visit to a distillery can be arranged. Bedrooms have been recently refurbished and their individual décor combined with classic furniture make them veritable ‘comfort zones’.
