The Gurnard’s Head is on the Cornwall Coastal Path near Zennor, west of St Ives. Its young owners also have The Felin Fach Griffin, near Brecon, and both inns have been acclaimed as providing some of the best cuisine and comfortable lodging in the UK at an affordable price. Bedrooms are warm and cosy, no TVs but Roberts radios. Home grown food can be enjoyed in the bar, the restaurant or al fresco in clement weather.
