Stanwell House, with new owners in 2007, is situated in the centre of the picturesque Regency market town of Lymington, one of the South's most attractive and historic locations. The building started as a gentleman's residence, became a high class girls' boarding schoool, then a solicitor's office and is now a stylish boutique hotel. Stanwell House is cosmopolitan and stylish. It offers guests an efficient, friendly yet unobtrusive service in a welcoming environment. Whether it be lunch on the terrace, champagne afternoon tea, a drink in the bar, dinner in the bistro or in the celebrated seafood restaurant AA , or an over-night stay in one of the original and seductive bedrooms, Stanwell House is the place for a perfect escape.
Well behaved children and dogs welcome. £15 charge for dogs.

20/11/2008 (2 night stay): The service at this hotel was some of the best I have come across from the front desk to the maitre d' everyone was not just polite but knowledgeable and made you feel welcome. Excellent position in the centre of town but still nice and quiet.
