Built in 1792, the hotel is situated close to the historic town of Battle and adjoins the famous battlefield of 1066. Privately owned, the Powder Mills has been skilfully converted into a fascinating country house hotel. 02/08/2009 (2 night stay): We stayed for one night with two friends and two dogs. The room was beautiful, the food excellent and the surroundings spectacularly peaceful. A perfect, relaxed place to stay with dogs.
