The Lansdowne commands fine views over Eastbourne's sea front towards Beachy Head. Owned by the same family since 1912, it has the true hallmarks of hospitality and comfort. Bedrooms are elegantly furnished with many rooms overlooking the sea-front. There are 16 smoking bedrooms. There is a choice of comfortable lounges, as well as several refreshment places from the Regency Bar to the stylish Devonshire Restaurant serving traditional English cuisine.

07/08/2009 (3 night stay): Just spent a short break at the lovely hotel that was clean, bright and friendly and situated on the seafront. Excellent breakfast and comfortable twin beds. Overall a very pleasant stay.
