The Lansdowne commands fine views over Eastbourne's sea front towards Beachy Head. Owned by the same family since 1912, it has the true hallmarks of hospitality and comfort. 07/08/2009 (3 night stay): Just spent a short break at the lovely hotel that was clean, bright and friendly and situated on the seafront. Excellent breakfast and comfortable twin beds. Overall a very pleasant stay.

15/02/2010 (4 night stay): Probably the nicest, most efficient welcome I have ever experienced in a UK hotel. The standard of service was maintained throughout our stay. This is an old fashioned hotel, very comfortable public areas and decent rooms.
