The elegant 4 star Cotswold Lodge hotel is a delightfully peaceful retreat, set in a conservation area only half a mile from the historic dreaming spires of Oxford City Centre. Bedrooms are very comfortable – each floor having a different style. Downstairs the drawing room is smartly furnished with antiques. Current magazines and flowers are in abundance. The Scholars Bar is the perfect meeting place for a light lunch or to relax with a drink in the evening. The hotel’s restaurant “Sixty Six A” offers international cuisine with well thought out dishes to suite every palate. Weddings and conferences are a speciality with space for 90 delegates. The new ground floor opens onto the patio and courtyard, ideal for al fresco dining and drinks. The hotel is excellently placed for leisure breaks in Oxford or the Cotswolds and is highly recommended for both business or pleasure. The Cotswold Lodge Hotel has broadband in all bedrooms.

30/06/2009 (1 night stay): A family wedding in Oxford (not at the Lodge) made this hotel 'wedding central' with over 8 rooms taken at times. The level of service was top-level and when we needed extras (like finding the things we left in taxis) - they were always and efficiently there for us. I would recommend this hotel to the upscale traveller without reservation.

04/03/2010 (2 night stay): Booked at short notice and was very pleased with the accommodation. Good location for walking into Oxford. Excellent room on the ground floor with plenty of room and all facilities.

17/12/2009 (2 night stay): The staff were friendly and helpful and the room clean and nicely set out. The hotel is in walking distance to Oxford town centre. Would stay here again, the hotel was quaint and delightful.

19/11/2009 (1 night stay): I have stayed here before and would do so again. The staff are all friendly and welcoming. The food in the restaurant and the breakfast were excellent. Previously we had a double room that was spacious and you felt you could relax in with easy chair and table. This time I booked a single, which was inevitably smaller but well presented and very comfortable for a 1 night stay. I will be staying here again.
