This lovely small hotel is situated at the heart of the historic market town of Farnham, notable for its Georgian architecture of which Bishop's Table is a classic example. Once used as a training school for clergy, it has been in new family ownership since June 2007. Enhancements are being introduced whilst not compromising the integrity of the historical building and the friendly style, which has won it National Excellence awards for hospitality and comfort. The Restaurant has been renamed the Plum Brasserie and is bright and informal and serves a simple menu of high quality - English based but with French influences. The Bishop's Table is indeed a warm and welcoming place and Farnham has much to offer, not least easy access to London.
