Brooklands Country Retreat and Health Spa

This 19th century country house hotel and health spa is found nestling on the edge of the Forest of Bowland surrounded by 5 acres of mature landscaped gardens.

There is a choice of eleven bedrooms, six newly refurbished luxury suites, individually designed and furnished to the highest standard some with direct access to the gardens.

The spa has a fully equipped gym, steam room, sauna, indoor heated pool and hydrotherapy pool.

The hotel restaurant uses only the freshest fairtrade produce available. There is also a Thai restaurant with a less formal atmosphere offering traditional Thai food prepared by Brooklands own Thai chef.

15/09/2009 (2 night stay): We stayed for two nights and were impressed by the excellent personal service throughout. We enjoyed everything about our stay including the very good food. The food in the main restaurant wasn't quite as good but didn't matter. Recommended.

12/09/2009 (12 night stay): My partner and I stayed at this wonderful retreat on the evening of Brooklands Charity Ball. The venue is truly stunning. Attention to detail was evident throughout I especially loved the orchids on the beds !! Beautifull guest rooms and fabulous Thai food . The spa and highly polished treatments were the icing on the cake . We will most certainly be returning ! Well done Brooklands.
