Aynsome Manor is situated in the beautiful vale of Cartmel, with views over open meadows toward the 12th Century Priory and picturesque Cartmel village.
The Varley family have managed Aynsome for some 25 years creating an elegant, comfortable and tranquil atmosphere, maintaining period features throughout, parts of which date back to 1512, although the main house a mere pup at 1740, with later additions in 1840, such as the large glass cupola.
The Georgian dining room with its ornate “tongue and ball” ceiling, old portraits and oak panelling offer AA Red Rosette country house cuisine.
The twelve bedrooms mainly built around the courtyard offering high levels of amenities and comfort.
Aynsome is a perfect location to explore the Lake District peninsulas, Morecambe Bay and when the weather is not so kind, come and relax by the log fires in either of the lounges.
