Hotels with Croquet
Croquet equipment manufacturers reported a surge of interest and sales following pictures of a certain hard hitting cabinet minister’s game of croquet at Dorney Wood in 2007 when he was ‘in charge of the country’. Croquet has long been popular at country houses up and down the land and is just the thing to break the ice, accompanied by a pre-lunch Pimms or G & T, on a sunny summer weekend.
Many of our hotels have croquet lawns. Make sure there is a copy of the rules in the box as these may be open to varied interpretation!
