The London Boroughs of Kingston, Richmond and Wimbledon are postally in Surrey and several of the largest Hotels in Surrey are in this north-western corner of the county. Great Fosters at Egham is one of the oldest Hotels in Surrey, dating back to the 16th century. It is very popular for weddings and is one the nearest non-chain hotels to Heathrow Airport. Just across the M25 is Foxhills Resort & Spa at Ottershaw, a secluded hotel with spa, golf & tennis facilities. At Bagshot, on the Hampshire border, is the five-star Pennyhill Park, one of the best Hotels in Surrey, with golf course, state-of-the-art spa and award winning restaurant. For race-goers, just a ten minute walk from the racecourse, is the small privately owned Chalk Lane Hotel, Epsom. At nearby Stoke d'Abernon, is Woodlands Park, a member of Hand Picked Hotels.
This 60-bedroom hotel, set in parkland, was once owned by the Bryant family, of Bryant & May (matches) fame.
