County Town Chelmsford has the centrally located modern County Hotel in Essex which holds conferences and weddings. On the way to Burnham on Crouch on the picturesque Crouch estuary, popular with yachtsmen, at South Woodham Ferrers near Marsh Farm Country Park, is the modern purpose-built Oakland Hotel.
