Corse Lawn House Hotel
An elegant Grade II listed Queen Anne building, Corse Lawn House is set back from a quiet village green, standing in 12 acres of its own grounds, facing a pond which used to be a coach-wash.
The house has belonged to the Hine family (of Cognac fame) since 1978 and since then has been carefully extended and refurbished to create a stunning country house hotel. Each bedroom is different and has welcoming fruit and biscuits.
The AA rosette restaurant is very much the heart of the hotel, with the emphasis on local and seasonal produce. Less formal dining is available in the Bistro and a private dining/conference room is available.
There are two comfortable drawing rooms, always busy with locals and residents taking tea in the summer and with the house labradors trying to make new friends! The atmosphere is happy and relaxed, the service attentive but unobrtusive. Corse Lawn is in an unspoiled corner of Gloucestershire, near the Herefordshire and Worcestershire borders but is handy for visiting the Cotswolds, the Malvern Hills and the Forest of Dean.
It is easily accessible from the motorway network.

December 2011 : Great little hotel with excellent food. Great food as always; Wonderful room, service is excellent. You can't ask for more at this price.

November 2011 : Delightful spot, ideal for a break, and rightly very popular. A real find - although disappointment in the swimming pool being closed for its annual service. I'd really looked forward to that! Special mention - the marmalade! Quite delicious!

October 2011 : What a perfect place for a wedding anniversary. We were greeted with a warm welcome and showed to our room within minutes of our arrival. The room was spacious indeed and included a sofa, reading table and a huge bed.
