Risley Hall prospered into the Manor House it is today in Georgian times. A feature of the property is the 16th century Baronial Hall, now restored to its former splendour and popular for weddings and special occasions.
The 35 bedroom hotel enjoys a quiet setting in 17 acres of private grounds, yet is only 20 minutes from both Derby and Nottingham city centres and five minuets from the M1 (junc. 25).
Six years ago 19 executive suites were added and these are named after composers: The Britten Suite, The Bach Suite and so on. These spacious apartment style rooms offer extra luxuries such as satellite TV, DVD and minibars. The Aqua Health Club includes pool, sauna, steam room, and Thalgo treatment rooms.

November 2011 : Lovely venue for a wedding, beautiful hall and gardens. Stayed in double room, No 10, which was clean. However the en suite bathroom was in need of updating.
