December 2011 : We went to The Clive for an anniversary break. The room was large and comfortable and the bathroom very well appointed. The staff were friendly and helpful. There was a sitting area and the bed was huge. I had booked to eat in the restaurant on each of the three nights of our stay….

November 2011 : The Clive is overall an excellent place. Although it is primarily a restaurant, the rooms are of the very best quality. We stayed in one of the outside blocks on the frist floor. We had a big room, beautifully furnished and expensively fitted out, with a modern large and well equipped bathroom, thick carpets, old oak beams and a French window… the restaurant service was friendly and prompt…we will definitely stay again.
