Washingborough Hall
A quintessential Georgian Country House dating back to the early 1700's, the Hall is set in lovely secluded grounds just over 2 miles from the historic city centre of Lincoln.
Privately owned and managed by Lucy and Edward Herring, the Hall is now a stylish, relaxed hotel renowned for its friendly atmosphere, great food and personal service.
There are 12 individually designed bedrooms, which retain the best of their original features with emphasis being put on comfort and thoughtful attention to detail. All rooms have en-suite bathrooms with L'Occitane luxury toiletries, modern flat-screen televisions, tea and coffee making facilities with homemade biscuits. The elegant, yet informal Dining Room restaurant serves a seasonal British menu using prime Lincolnshire ingredients.
Washingborough Hall is perfect for weddings or special occasions, licensed for civil wedding ceremonies and civil partnership ceremonies for up to 120 people. Three well-equipped function rooms accommodate meetings, small conferences and private parties in quiet, tranquil surroundings. The Hall can be hired on an exclusive use basis.
Well behaved dogs welcome £10. Please see hotel website for details of our Pet Policy.

August 2011 : A delightful experience from start to finish. All the staff we met were cheerful, happy and anxious to help without being overpowering. Dinner was superb. The room was comfortable, clean, beautifully decorated and furnished.
