10/09/2009 (3 night stay): This hotel is in a great location with very comfortable bedrooms and public rooms. The staff are friendly and helpful and food is served all day. There is a lovely walk through woodland to the lake for those who like some excercise and we found the hotel very relaxing.

08/10/2009 (3 night stay): The accommodatin was outstanding. Our room was spotlessly clean and everything was in good working order. The bed was enormous and the views from the room were beautiful. The Restaurant was fantastic and the staff throughout the hotel were absolutely brilliant!

16/01/2009 (3 night stay): This was a real getaway without having to go miles away. The service was great and we upgraded to a room with a lakeside view and it was well worth it. My partner also did the falconry experience and really rated that, the woodlands and the lake made the stay relaxing and a real treat! The hotel restaurant was of an excellent standard, really impressive! Would definitely stay again.

September 2011 : We stayed in hotel one night & ate both dinner & breakfast in this restaurant. Service was excellent with friendly helpful staff. Breakfast was outstanding - eggs benedict were certainly the best I've ever tasted & the "full Yorkshire" was a show stopper! Our evening meal was equally good - unusual choices with hot selection of fresh vegetables. We cannot recommend this place enough! We'll certtainly go back when in this part of the world again.
