22 York Street
22 York Street is something different - not so much a hotel as a private Georgian townhouse that owners Michael & Liz Callis share with guests. Nevertheless it is a great stopping off point for those seeking reasonably priced accommodation in the Marylebone area.
A statue greets you in the hall, and manager Michaela will show you to your well appointed room - no number on doors, modem points or trouser presses but comfortable beds, large bathrooms, flat screen TVs and, at the back, a quiet outlook. There is a meeting room for 8 - 10 people with WIFI. Highlight of any stay at '22' is the sumptuous breakfast, taken at a communal table.
Every fruit under the sun, cereals, fresh croissants, a newspaper if you want one, any flavoured yoghurt - enough to set you up for for a day in the capital. NCP parking nearby and Baker Street tube and buses within a five minute walk.

Hotel reviews
September 2011 : We stayed at this B&B/hotel for 5 days with 2 young children. Service was great - the landlady is very nice and there was a great atmosphere among guests. The location is really nice too.
June 2011 : A warm and welcoming B&B that made my recent trip to London a real pleasure. Food and rooms were just right, the staff gave great recommendations for local attractions and restaurants, and the location couldn't be more perfect. I'll definitely stay there again.
June 2011 : Stayed here late May in a twin room on the third floor. Very comfy beds, bright and clean room, plenty of cupboard space, full length mirror, bright and airy. Tasty continental breakfast, fresh fruit, cereal, pastries, yogurts etc.
